In late March, Peloton announced it would start testing a new pricing model that bundles the infamous bike and access to its content for subscriptions between $60 and $100 a month.
Which got us thinking…
What are some creative pricing ideas for events that can entice people to attend?
Enter the NFT world!
This acronym, which stands for non-fungible token, seems to be at the tip of everyone’s tongue lately and with good reason. As a one-off digital asset that can apply to everything, including photos, videos, memes, art pieces, or event tickets, NFTs are uniquely positioned to disrupt the event world.
On the lower or basic end of the spectrum, they offer a secure way to complete transactions. According to the data, more than 12% of people buying concert tickets are scammed.
But the opportunities become endless when it comes to VIP offerings and exclusive deals or promotional material available to a select few. An NFT is part of the VIP experience package on many headlining concerts.
Our findings indicate that interest in the metaverse and new experiential offerings will only increase in the latter part of 2022, so organizers that are one step ahead in including the new kid on the block(chain), will have a clear advantage.
