Metropolitan Business League hosts a twice-weekly Town Hall series to inform, educate, and guide small businesses & non-profit organizations during COVID-19.

Peter Paul Development Center

Damon Jiggetts serves as Executive Director of Peter Paul Development Center, an outreach and community center serving Church Hill. Peter Paul’s core program is an intensive educational program, serving almost 400 students daily at the Center and East End elementary schools. Peter Paul also provides services for senior citizens, and partners with an array of organizations to address basic needs of the residents in the community.

Mr. Jiggetts is also the founder and principal consultant of Resource Partners, LLC, which supports nonprofit and small business operations, organizational development, strategic planning and provides executive coaching.


Lisa Sims, CEO
Venture Richmond

Lisa Sims is the Chief Executive Officer for Venture Richmond, Inc., a non-profit organization that engages business and community leaders in partnering with the city to enhance the vitality of the community, particularly downtown. Venture Richmond promotes the betterment of downtown through economic development, marketing, promotion, advocacy and events. Previously she was Deputy Director overseeing festivals and events, marketing, and development. Prior to Venture Richmond, Lisa was vice president of marketing for what is now Richmond Region Tourism, and before moving to Richmond in 1998 she was executive director of the Asheville, NC, Convention and Visitors Bureau.
